Common questions
A scanned product shows the wrong details
Product data comes from Open Food Facts, a free database that anyone can correct. You can also save your own version in the app with the right values, and it will be used next time you scan that barcode.
Reminders aren't arriving
Check iPhone Settings › Notifications › PrimalTrac and make sure notifications are allowed, then turn the reminders you want on in the app's Settings.
Workouts or weight aren't coming in from Apple Health
Check iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › PrimalTrac and turn on Workouts and Weight. Then use Sync now in the app's Settings.
How do I join the beta?
On your iPhone, install Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store, then open the PrimalTrac beta link and tap Accept, then Install. Updates arrive through TestFlight automatically.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Your diary is stored on your iPhone, so it moves with an iCloud or computer backup. You can also export a spreadsheet of everything from Settings › Export my data.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Delete all data wipes everything from the app. Deleting the app removes it from your phone too. We don't hold a copy.
Which level should I choose?
If you're new, start at Level 1 or 2 and move up once a level feels easy for a couple of weeks. The app suggests moving up after a 14-day streak, and the Learn guides explain each level.
